Ron Tobin to Make Appearance at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, 2/7

Ron Tobin, an actor and comedian playing 30 different characters in "My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm in Therapy," will visit with patients at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center's inpatient unit at Banner Gateway Medical Center at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7.

"I believe so strongly in the benefits of laughter and the effect it can have on patients fighting the good fight against diseases, illness and injury. I love being able to make people smile and laugh when they need it the most," Tobin said.

Tobin appears in "My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish & I'm in Therapy" through Feb. 19 at The Heberger Theater Center, 222. E. Monroe.

Tobin will perform at Banner Gateway Medical Center, 1900 E. Higley Road, Gilbert, AZ 85234 (southwest corner of US 60 and Higley Road) at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center on the Banner Gateway Campus delivers an unprecedented level of cancer care to patients in Arizona through the collaboration of Banner Health and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the internationally renowned cancer treatment and research institution.

Patients receive care in a new three-story 133,000 square-foot outpatient center supported by 76 beds on two floors inside Banner Gateway Medical Center. The outpatient center houses physician clinics, medical imaging, radiation oncology, infusion therapy and many support services.
