Piper Theater.Tickets are available for $39 and $49 online at www.ScottsdalePerformingArts.org or through the Patron Services Box Office at (480) 499-TKTS (8587).Known for her dry, irreverent wit and assorted pet peeves, Fran Lebowitz delivers unapologetic opinions about modern life. Her first two classic books of essays, Metropolitan Life and Social Studies, were bestsellers and have been collected in The Fran Lebowitz Reader, and she is the author of the children’s book Mr. Chas and Lisa Sue Meet the Pandas. Lebowitz recently broke a decade-long writer’s block and is back at work on her long-awaited novel, Exterior Signs of Wealth. She also was the subject of Martin Scorsese’s recent documentary film Public Speaking.Lebowitz will converse on stage with a local host and answer questions from the audience.
