The new stage musical KING KONG just opened last weekend at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne, Australia. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the show is already casting its eye towards Broadway, with a hopeful launch as early as 2014. The production, which was originally slated to run through July 28, has just extended through August 18. The film marks Mazer's directorial debut, having previously been best known for writing the Sacha Baron Cohen films Borat and Brno. The film was based and filmed in London. It was given a certificate rating '15'. It was classified as R16 in New Zealand for offensive language and sex scenes.

Frozen is an upcoming American 3D computer animated musical-fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy taleThe Snow Queen. It will be the 53rd animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. The film will feature the voices of Kristen Bell as Anna, Idina Menzel as Elsa the Snow Queen, and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff, in speaking as well as singing roles. The film is currently scheduled to be released on November 27, 2013.

The three and the film's producer Nira Park have previously worked together on the television series Spaced, as well as the other two films in the so-called 'Cornetto trilogy', Shaun of the Dead (2004) and Hot Fuzz (2007). The film follows a group of friends reattempting an epic pub crawl during an alien invasion.
