The Hazelden Foundation presents the off-Broadway production of BILL W. AND DR. BOB by Samuel Shem and Janet Surrey. Tickets are now on sale. Performances began Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Soho Playhouse in New York City. Opening night is tonight, July 16, 2013.

The new NYC production of Bill W. and Dr. Bob, about the founding of AA, begins tonight, July 8 at the Soho Playhouse. Seth Gordon (Associate Artistic Director, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis; Producer/Director Primary Stages, NYC; director of the acclaimed production of Bill W. and Dr. Bob at the Cleveland Play House in 2010) will direct an ensemble of actors who have garnered acclaim on and off Broadway.

Geva Theatre Center's 40th Anniversary Season concludes with A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Mark Cuddy and Skip Greer. This most popular of Shakespeare's comedies and suitable for the entire family, begins performances on May 8 and runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Mainstage through June 2.

Theater critics worldwide have praised Bill W. and Dr. Bob, Samuel Shem and Janet Surrey's play about the founding of AA, as an expertly told, universally compelling story about the triumph of the human spirit. The show continues to break box office records and brings a whole new community into the theater-the broad diversity of people in recovery, and their families and friends. After being mounted more than 100 times in 35 states as well as Australia, Canada and England, the play comes to New York City's 199-seat Soho Playhouse (200 Vandam Street), beginning July 8, in a new production directed by Seth Gordon (Associate Artistic Director, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis; Producer/Director Primary Stages, NYC; director of the acclaimed production of Bill W. and Dr. Bob at the Cleveland Play House in 2010). Critics are welcome as of the 3pm matinee on Saturday, July 13 for an official opening on Tuesday, July 16.

Few people know the real story of football's most legendary coach, Vince Lombardi. Through his inspirations and passions, he had an ability to drive people to achieve more than they ever thought possible. Arizona Theatre Company's "Lombardi" centers on the iconic Green Bay Packers coach during a pivotal week in 1965. This Southwest premiere production of the Broadway hit plays at the Temple of Music and Art and runs from October 20 - November 10, 2012. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from November 15 - December 2, 2012. "Lombardi" is supported by Opening Night Sponsor, Kate Garner.
