The Stephen Sondheim Theatre will soon be home to the upcoming Broadway revival of Horton Foote's beloved classic, The Trip to Bountiful, starring Cicely Tyson, Cuba Gooding Jr., Vanessa Williams, Condola Rashad and Tom Wopat. Directed by Michael Wilson, The Trip to Bountiful will play a 14-week limited engagement, beginning previews on Saturday, March 30th at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W 43rd St). Opening night is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23rd. The cast and creatve team met the press earlier today and BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge was there to get the scoop on the revival. Franco says that he will appear appear as Chance Wayne, in the Fall 2011 production, which will be directed by David Cromer.
